Windtalker's Floating Island...

...neither an ice cream or a cocktail drink as one might initially think, "floating island" was how the windtalkers from WWII referred to the Philippines, an archipelago strategically located in Southeast Asia...here I intend to think aloud and express my views, not only on people, places & events, but just about anything seen and heard from within and beyond my beloved "floating island", while attempting to find some significant human experiences out of them...

my latest baby, BIBI, is now 10 months old...she was only a month and 15 days old when she was given to me as a birthday gift by my wonderful friends ging & tina... she's had my hands full since then, as BIBI, true to her labrador genes, is overly playful, most often preferring the ultra-exaggerated way in everything that she does...

today she got her dog tag from the City Vet Ofc - she's now a legitimate city resident!




when our other baby, Prissy (a 6-year old doberman/terrier crossbreed) refuses to play, Bibi would simply sulk for a while but decides to play just the same, either with dad or me, but most of the time with anything her growing teeth could find to gobble on, i.e. the sofa...one time i bought her 3 tennis balls for pets so she'd cease attacking the sala set, but of course it only took an hour or so before the insides of the balls popped out...

Despite her huge size, she's easily scared of hearing other dogs bark and would run inside the house content to look over the window and let Prissy deal with the 'enemies at the gate'
